Model Canona AT-1, wyprodukowany w roku 1977, jest ręcznie sterowaną kamerą z pomiarem światła TTL centralnie-integral-nym, tak jak u poprzednika. Dane: czułość filmu, czas naświetlenia i oświetlenie obiektu (dioda SPD) analizowane są przez jednostkę CPU, i zgrywając index ze wskazówką nastawiamy optymalną wartość przysłony. Niby nic nowego, tylko szybciej i dokładniej. Możliwość dostawienia wszystkich komponentów jak w modelu AE-1.
